A little swatch with a little bit of nail art!

Hey there! :)

I bet everyone has these days, when you just don't know what to put on your nails, am I right? :) Well, I recently found this awesome "game" that helps you with this problem! :D If you want to know more about it, click on the link! ;)

That's how I ended up with this polish - Aden 86c10. Oh, how I hate polishes without names! But this one is really gorgeous, so we will just see past that :P

This is 2 coats of Aden - isn't is pretty ?? It's an absolutely gorgeous dark green shimmer with a good formula. It bubbles a bit on the nails no matter what you do, but a coat of TC fixes that problem :)

Here's a pic taken with flash to show you the shimmer better - amazing right?
I found this polish in a little store in Romania. I've never heard of this brand, but this color caught my eye and I had to buy it!

I decided to do some nail art over it and since my creativity is gone these days I just did a random geometrical design as an accent on ring finger & thumb.

I wanted to do this on all my nails, but I didn't had the time, that's why I just did the accent nails :)

I really like it and I won't take it off until it starts chipping! :P

How do you like it? :)

Hunger Games Nail Art Series - Caesar Flickerman

Hello Hunger Games Fans :)
I know the movie has already been released in some countries, so did someone see it ?? :D I have to wait a little longer, because the movie releases here just sometime in April *cry*  :((
Well, til then I'll try to pass the time with some more HG Nail Art :) Today's mani was inspired by Caesar Flickerman, the interviewer of the tributes.
He is wearing a blue glitter suit and blue hair - I just loooove the hair :D I wanted to use a more intense blue for the suit and here is what it looks like:
I used: O.P.I - Swimsuit ... Nailed it! and added a coat of blue glitter from Aden, for that extra sparkle ;). For the accent I used a Flormar tip painter in white and Essence Mysterious Black.
I could wear that O.P.I polish every day! :D
What do you think? Did I represent Caesar well ? :)

I wish all the people who will go to see the movie a lot of fun!! Let me know what you'll wear on your nails ;)

Christmas Challenge Day 17 - Tinsel/Garland

Tinsel and/or Garland .. I chose Tinsel :P
I used a green background, representing the tree and silver/red tinsel, since my Christmas Tree this year is decorated with this colors ;)
I should have added some glitter to it :P Well, too late ;) I used Aden - 86 , P2 - Glamour and P2 - Charismatic.
And here is my Christmas Tree, I love it! It looks so good and sparkly in real life, but the camera won't show it.....damn you! :P
I'm slowly catching up with the Challenge :D
See ya with the next one soon ;)

Christmas Challenge Day 13 + Day 14 - Christmas Tree with Ornaments :)

I'm sorry, that I missed one day, but I had so much to do yesterday for the university. Only 2 more days and it's over and then...vacation! :D Yes ;)
Luckily for me the theme's for these 2 days are easy to combine: Christmas Tree and Ornaments ;)
And here are my nails:
I love the Christmas tree! The angel ornament didn't turn out like I wanted to, but it's alright :) I used Aden 86 (as a base and for the tree) and on the ring finger I used Avon - Red Velvet as a base. If you wanna know any of the other colors I used, feel free to ask ;)
The green polish bubbled like crazy on my index finger.. idk why, it never happened before with this one. Oh well, it had a bad day :D

Take a look at all the beautiful trees and ornaments on these ladies nails:
Paint That Nail, Steffi, Jessica, Salpi, Shannara, Kirshten, Kelly, Lexi Martone and Kaki

Have a lovely evening and see ya tomorrow! :)

Christmas Challenge Day 9 - Red & Green

It's Friday!! Finally :D I still have a test on Sunday (yes, you heard right, on SUNDAY!) but still ;)
Today's theme was a bit difficult...why? Because it's rather vague. I asked my readers what I could do with red and green polish and one of them said: a mistletoe!  Thank you for that idea, FrugallyMe ! :)
I kept it simple, so here is my Red & Green Mani:
I used: Avon Ruby Slippers as a base (@MissDoll: a little preview from your requested swatch), Aden - 86 (green), Nail Collection Matte in White for the dots and Essence - Golden Sands for the little bow.
Simple but cute :)
I'm really curious about the designs these ladies came up with :D
Have a good night and see ya tomorrow ;)

Reader´s Choice: Catrice - I Sea You + Dripping Nail Art

Hello everybody!
Yesterday I asked my readers what polish to wear today, and the first comment with a number was from Beauty on a College Budget. And she chose number 20. Thank you! ;) If you count down my stash list, the polish that comes up is: Catrice - I Sea You! I already swatched that polish -->here<-- :) Since I already swatched it, I didn´t want to wear just the plain polish, so I tried something that I wanted to do in a long time: a dripping manicure.
I had really fun creating this, and I´m sure I´ll be doing this again soon with other colors :D For the dripping effect I used Aden - 86c10 (I hate polishes without names ^^). Click to enlarge the photo to see that awesome shimmer in Aden!
I hope you like it! Let me know if you already tried that type of mani :)
Have a great day! :-*
