Kiko & Essence Haul + Blog Name Change

Hello my lovelies! 

I was on the road the whole day, just got home a few hours ago , but I promised myself I would do this post mostly because I wanna explain the name change of my blog! 

Since the first day I started this blog, I was never quite happy with the name. I am horrible with finding creative names so I took the first thing that sounded good to me at the time. Well, it has been 3 years and I really wanna get my blog going again, maybe even start a Youtube-channel, who knows? But I feel that I need a name that I can use for both my blog and Youtube and is short and easy to remember!

Since I am so bad with names I asked the lovely ladies of Polishaholics Anonymous on Facebook (told you about them once, lovely group!) and immediately got some responses :D

My own suggestion was Theodora's Beauty Corner, which got some positive response. The other suggestions were: Raducal Beauty (my last name is Radu - so instead of radical its raducal :P) and Theadorable Beauty Blog (Kind of a mix of my first name Theodora with adorable). 

I liked those suggestions, BUT I am still open for new ones! I will add them to the survey I started on the left side bar and you, my dear followers, have time to vote for your favorite one! ;)  

I know a name change is not the best thing, but better to do it now than later, right? 

Ok, enough of that, here are some beautiful things I got the past couple of days :3

I didn't wanna buy anything from Kiko, I just wanted to browse the nail polish section of their website and then I saw the big offer they had on Black Friday - 30% on your whole purchase! 

I just couldn't resist :D 

I got 5 eye shadows and a palette to put 4 of them in, 2 nail polishes, a face primer, a lip primer and a brow highlighter. 

I would love to do swatches/reviews on them and I probably will do so in the near future, but is there anything you would really like to see asap ? Tell me ;) 

All of the stuff above was a real spontaneous buy! I was in the city with my bf and he wanted to look at some games, so I spent my time looking at some makeup and stuff. 

I really just wanted to look! :D 

But in the end, when he came back I had all of this stuff in my hands and I just had to buy these pretties :3 

The whole collection of thermo polishes by Essence, 3 of the new palettes from Essence, 2 quattro eye-shadows from Essence's LE "Come to Town" + the green glitter polish from that same LE. 

The 2 false lashes I got from a 1€ Shop and they just looked so gorgeous.... and let's be honest, you can't do anything wrong with that price :D

August Haul !

Good morning! :)

As promised here is my haul post for the month of August - if you want any of the cosmetics reviewed asap, let me know! ;) But first, let's start with the clothes :D

 You know I love animal prints, so of course I couldn't resist these awesome shoulder-free shirts! (5€ each)

These tops are my favorites right now :D They're so comfy and look good with some skinny jeans and colorful accessories! (3€ each)

And my absolute favorite purchase this month - these black boots from Deichmann (29,90€)! I'm so in love with these and I can't wait for the cold weather, so I can wear them :D

Let's move on to the cosmetic stuff!

You already saw the Essence Peel Off BC :) I also got 2 of the Color Change polishes (I'll post them tomorrow!), the Pearly Pink Crackle polish, and 3 C&G polishes: Gold Fever, Oh my Glitter!, Nude Glam - Iced Strawberry Cream. 

I got these goodies in a swap with the lovely Kelly! :D All the polishes she got me are from my wishlist, so you can imagine my joy when I opened the package! And she also included a self-warming hand mask from Orly ;) Thanks again Kelly for this absolutely awesome package! x

These are the goodies (-> China Glaze Riveting, Orly - Halley's Comet and Revlon Carbonite) I bought from Geeky Owl's blog sale! Head over there, cause she still has some cool polishes left, at a great prize! ;) 

And last but not least, these are the things I bought at the flea market some days ago! I wanted the Lush Lemony Flutter for aaaaaaaages and now I got one for only 2€! The rest I bought from a very nice lady for only 6€! Awesome prize, since only the foundation costs 10€ in the store! :P They're all brand new and I can't wait to try them out :)

July Haul !

Hello, my dear readers! :) 

I asked on facebook whether you'd be interested in a haul post or not. I got only positive feedback so I decided to try it ;) Please let me know in your comments, if you like a monthly haul by the beginning of every month :)

And second picture are some really great sandals I got from Deichmann for only 9,95€! 

My 3 new favorite bras! You know I love animal prints and the color purple! :D I got each one for 7€. A creme/white shirt with transparent lace on the back (10€), some biiiig green/silver earrings (7€), black hair dye from Syoss (don't worry, it's only for half of my hair :D) and a lot of baby food! It's so delicious! ;) 

Essence - Back to Black polish (1,55€), P2 Volume Affair Mascara in black, P2 Eye Pencil 020 Cool Alaska. And now the Catrice stuff: 

Gel Eye Liner in 040 Sherlock & Khaki Holmes + 030 In Love with a Robot, Lash Plus Mascara + Intensive Lash Growth Serum, Eye Pencils 080 Lucy in the Skies + 090 Would You Mint?, Color & Stay Lip Gloss 060 Little Red Dress + 090 No. 9 is Mine. 

I got all the Catrice stuff on sale for 1,95€ each. Everything but the red lip gloss...that one I got for free, cause it was the last one and without a price tag :P 

Some lashes and Lash Adhesive from "Fing'rs", P2 Crackling TC 040 White Revolution, P2 Shine Eye Cream 060 Bombastic Blue, P2 Matte Eye Shadow 040 White Connection and Essence Eye Shadow 01 Chill Out. Looks like a got this stuff for the next make-up challenges ;)

Awesome Nail Mail from CutiCLUEles!!

Good morning!

Some while ago I did a swap with this awesome girl ;) And that girl is Cuti-CLUE-les!! I don't even know anymore why we started this but I'm so glad we did!! I got some really amazing polishes and so much chocolate! =)) So, I just have to share this with you :D

My Giveaway Prize & Mini Haul

Hey there!

Finally the weekend is here, yay :D I'm so happy, because my mom came to visit me and she brought someone with her, but more on that later in this post ;)

I recently won a giveaway @Gold Speck Nails!! I was so excited :D Thank you again for hosting this giveaway Jenni! I love your blog and your awesome Nail Art ;) And if you, my dear readers, don't know her, go check ---her blog-- out! You won't be disappointed!

So here's what I won :) 

I'm too tired to list them all up here, but if you want to know what polishes they are, you can go check out Jenni's post about it! ;) I already swatched them all on my nail wheels and of course I love that dark blue polish from Rimmel and also that peachy one from BarryM. The polish that surprised me was the golden-orange MEMEME polish. It's so beautiful!!

And she added all this candy as extra! I was so surprised when I opened the package! I just looove chocolate, but oh well, who doesn't ? :P Most of it is already gone, and I can say that Cadbury chocolate is one of my favorites now, it's delicious! (especially the little buttons and the caramel bar!)

Germany Haul + New Hair Color

Hello, my lovelies!!! 

Long time, no see ;) I'm so glad I have the time again to blog, because I really missed it!

So for my "comeback-post" I have a haul for you :D I am visiting my mom in Germany and of course I went shopping right away for German polishes! Yay! I miss Essence and Catrice so much back home in Romania, that I took 2 hours today to check out all the displays in the stores. :P 

And here is what I got:

But the best thing I got from my mom for my 20th birthday is this: 

A Nikon D5100!! I couldn't believe it! I will be able to make really good photos now and color-accurate swatches! Yaaaay :D Although it make take some time til I manage to take really good pictures, they will be thousand times better than the ones I took with my phone, that's for sure ;)

And this post is getting too long now, but I want to show you my new hair color!

I dyed my bottom half of my hair in Dark Chocolate Brown and the top half with Cherry Red. I wanted to try this for sooo long and I love it! Especially when I have a pony tail ;)

Christmas Presents + Secret Santa Gift!! :D

Hello lovelies!

How was your Christmas? Was Santa good to you ? :D I had a great time with my family and it was really fun opening the presents under the Christmas Tree. We didn't do that since I don't know when, cause my family is always so excited about the presents that we get them 2 weeks before Christmas :))) 

So it was really nice getting the presents on Christmas for a change :P 

Those are not all my presents, just to be clear :P And I will only show you the beauty/fashion related stuff I got, cause that's the things that belong on my blog :P  

I got this cute little hat with scarf and gloves and I just love it! The colors are so fun and the pattern is perfect for winter ;) I thought about doing a matching manicure but I don't think I will have time for it..but maybe next year :D I also got a dress with leopard pattern, but I forgot to take a pic of it :P 

I was soooo excited about the second gift: the perfume from Laura Biagiotti - Mistero di Roma. It's my absolute favorite perfume and I wanted it for ages! Yeeeeey :D The other perfume is called "Little white Dress" from Avon I think :)  

And I got some money too and I bought me .... guess what! Polishes :D ..and a ton of jewelry :)) Would you be interested in a jewelry haul ? 

I actually bought the polishes a few days before Christmas, cause I got the money a bit early :) 

I got O.P.I - Fresh Frog of Bel Air (I used it for my Elf manicure) and O.P.I Nail Envy...finally! I wanted to try this out for some time now, I just hope it helps ;) 

If you have it, what are you thoughts on it? 

You may now I'm in this facebook group, called Polishaholics Anonymous, and Krissi organized a Secret Santa, were we sent a package to someone with our gift and we received one back from someone unknown (our Secret Santa :P). It was really fun! I mailed my package to Ashley and got one from Kristal (unfortunately I don't know her blog :( )

I got my very first China Glaze polishes from her! I was literally bouncing when I opened the package :D 

What I was really happy about too, was the Burt's Bees - Lemon Butter Cuticle Cream, this cream is a dream!! All in all I was sooo happy about my gift, thanks again Kristal!! :)

Today's Swatch: Avon - Grey Cement + Avon Haul

Hey there!
Oh gosh, I'm so excited about tomorrow!! If your new here, or maybe just missed it: this is what I'm so excited about :D Can't wait to start and see all the other Nail Designs, from the ones who participate ;)

So, today I am showing you another gorgeous polish from Avon! I'm falling in love with this polish brand ;) It's Grey Cement, a matte polish, which is the perfect grey! Not to dark and not to light...just gorgeous!

The application was a bit hard at first, because this polish dries within seconds! So you have to be fast...and I mean fast as lightning, no kidding :) Even if you manage to apply it evenly, you'll still see some brush strokes (1st pic), but they're not that noticeable in real life. I used 2 coats.

All in all I love how matte it is, because some other matte polishes I own, have more like a satin finish. That's why I ordered the other 2 matte polishes, that I don't already have, from Avon, so I have them all. They're just so cool :D

I really like the names of the polishes, because they describe them perfectly ;) But why couldn't Avon manage to put them on the bottles as well? I had to cut out the names from the boxes they came in and tape it on the cap :P

Holiday Haul + Current Hair :)

Hello my lovelies!
So as most of you know, I was in Greece for 10 days and I had a really great time. Besides being lazy on the beach, I also did some shopping with my mum :D Let me tell you, that they have awesome clothes there and really awesome shoes, but not in my size :( Apparently Greeks have small feet ;) Most of the things you can buy there are imported from Italy and of course China, so I don´t know where else you can buy these. But I´m sure you could find similar pieces, if you search for them :)

 I wanted such a hat for a long time and now I finally found some and the best thing about them, is the price : 2 and 6 €. That´s almost free :P And as you can tell I´m in love with animal prints, so I just had to get me those harem pants with zebra/leopard print and this cute little dress, which is now my absolute favorite :D

 Since I couldn´t buy me shoes I found another thing I love: bags ;) The picture isn´t that great, cause in reality the colors are so intense and the metal is so sparkly :) The 2 brown purses are actually the same chocolate brown, but in the picture they seem different ... weird :P I bought just this "basic" colors, cause I have enough colored bags :P 

Last but not least is some jewelry: a wooden ring with silver ornaments, a huge turquoise stone ring and a necklace with a "tooth", shaped like an elephant :) Of course I bought me a nail polish, some no name brand but so pretty. It´s a clear polish with holographic star-glitter! *sigh* Beautiful :D And I made some progress! I bought only 1 polish!! :P That´s it for my holiday haul and now I wanna know, what do you guys like to buy on your vacations ? Souvenirs, Nail Polish, Clothes or maybe something else ? 

Ah, I almost forgot to show you how red hair looks like, after 10 days of sun and salty water :D

I have orange tips, and the red really washed out :D But that doesn´t matter, cause I had to dye it anyways, because of the roots :)
