*Late* Nail Art Monday - Tape accent nail

Hello my dear readers!

*EDIT: I suck as a blogger ... I wrote that post yesterday and forgot to post it ... I'm sorry for the delay, again^^ *

Today I have some simple nail art for you - an accent nail with rhinestones and geometric design, that I achieved by using tape :)

The base for this mani is P2's No Matter from the "Winter ... who cares?!" LE I showed you yesterday!

For the accent nail I used Essence - Snow Alert (from the Mountain Calling LE) and 3 rhinestones. I topped it all off with a thick coat of TC. 

My plan was to do all nails like that, but then I thought It may be a little bit too much and I also didn't wanna cover up that gorgeous blue ;)

Nail Art Monday - Big Red Glitter

Hello my lovelies! :) 

Short post today, because it's kinda of a sad day for me and I don't feel like talking too much right now ^^

Today's nail art looks kinda simple but let me tell you it took forever! :)) 

After applying 2 coats of Essence - Fabuless, a simple black with light shimmer, I added this big red glitter from kkcenterhk ... one by one... 

Although it was a lot of work, the glitter looked so gorgeous in the end it was really worth it :) 

I just placed them with a dotting tool onto the wet nail polish. If I thought the polish is not sticky enough anymore I added a dot of clear polish and placed the glitter on top of it.

After I finished all my nails I applied 2 thick layers of top coat to really smooth it out, although I have to admit that 1 or 2 glitter edges where still kinda sticking out. 

I did wear it only for a day, because it felt really thick on my nails with all those layers :D

Nail Art Monday Nr.11 - Fierce Accent

Heeey!
I took a little pause from blogging, cause I had a lot of going an with uni and stuff (I had 3 tests only last week) but now it's going to be more relaxed, so I can post regularly again :) Starting Thursday I will post a Christmas Nail Art everyday! That will be fun :D
So today I was swatching some colors, and one of them was Avon - Violetta Sparkle. This is a dark purple polish with fine golden glitter in it. The application was tricky at first, I had to use 3 coats on the first nail, cause I couldn't apply it evenly. As I was moving on to the other nails I got the hang of it and I had to use only 2 coats. So application is fine, if you're careful. When I ordered this polish I thought it would be a lighter purple with silvery glitter, judging by the photo in the catalog. So I was a little bit disappointed, but the polish is still pretty :)

It was really hard to capture the real color and the glitter. If you enlarge the photos you can get an idea of how it looks.

I thought about pimping it a bit, so I added P2 Crackle TC - Golden Rush. I realized something funny today ... I always start painting my ring finger and then go on and paint the other ones. :))) So this accent nail happened by accident and since today's theme at PAA was "Fierce Accent Nail" ...well, perfect! :D

 I know a reader requested the swatch of this particular polish, so I hope she's happy with it! =)

Nail Art Monday Nr.10 - Hearts ♥

Hello, my dear readers!
There are now 203 of you! I can´t believe it :D I´m doing this since April and I never would have thought I´d have so many readers by now ... wow :) I thank each and every one of you, for reading my posts, sharing them, comment on them :) I love what I do and I love it even more, when I see that other people appreciate it ;)

This week on PAA, the theme was "hearts", and there couldn´t have been a better theme to show my readers some love :)

This was inspired by a technique I saw once on My Simple Little Pleasures, but I don´t know which post it was. It´s very easy and quick to do, but the effect is awesome. :) 

I used: Essence - Back to the 50´s (red) and Nail Collection Matte Nr. 4 (white). The light was not the best today, otherwise I would have done a swatch 

of the red polish :)

Nail Art Monday Nr.9 - Halloween !

Hey everybody!
This post was supposed to be scheduled yesterday, but obviously I did something wrong xD So I´ll post this weeks Nail Art Monday, today :P
The theme was, oh well, Halloween of course !! :D
You probably have seen this kinda manicure on every blog out there and even I did it last week, but I wanted to try it again :P

It was inspired by Acetone and Old Lacquer,because I loved her idea to do the "blood" on a neutral colored polish. 

I used: P2 - Perfectly as a base, Sally Hansen - Brick Wall (light red) and Catrice -The Devil wears Red. Yeey, my first Sally Hansen polish..I love it :D More on that tomorrow ;)

Yesterday as I was walking home, I saw these 2 cute little cats cuddling each other :)  How sweet are they?

Late Nail Art Monday (Nr.8) - Give me the Blues

Hello, my lovelies! :)
Monday was ages ago, I know, but I wanted to post this Nail Art anyways, cause I really like it ;) The theme this week was: Give me the Blues! Basically you had to do some Nail Art, only using blue polishes. I used Essence - Shocking Blue as a base, it applied very easy and I realized I never wore this color before, because I didn´t like the way it looks in the bottle. How wrong I was! :D I like it very much, it´s just a really nice and calm blue...I don´t know another way to describe it :P

Then I added some dots all over the tips of my nails and the polishes I used, are: Essence - The World´s Coolest (light blue), Essence - I´m a Marine Girl (dark blue) and P2 - Gigantic.

Another simple but cute manicure! What do you think ? Do you like blue polishes? :)

Nail Art Monday Nr.7 - Patchwork

Yeey it´s Monday again, so here is a new Nail Art Challenge! This time: Patchwork! I love this type of manicure and I already did this once -->here<--. Like the old one, this one is inspired by the design of Kayla Shevonne, too :)

I used: Essence - Can´t cheat on me (grey), Essence - Shocking Blue (light blue) and MNY 661. I adore this color combination! Now it´s obvious to me, that my favorite color is not only purple, but also blue! :D

Nail Art Monday Nr.6 - Candy

Heyho!
I´m back with my Nail Art Monday Mani :) This weeks theme: Candy...mhmm yummy :D The first thing that came in to my mind was Lollipops! They´re so colorful and delicious, so I knew I had to paint them :)

Nail Art Monday Nr.5 : Tape Mani + Paulinas Giveaway

Hello my lovelies :)
Today I have another Nail Art Monday manicure for you, the theme this week was: Tape Mani. I made it really simple, I used some special scissors to cut the tape and 2 of my new favorite colors: Catrice - Lost in Mud and Artdeco - 316. I really love this color combo! 

I wanted to add some dots, but I wasn´t sure how it would turn out and I didn´t want to ruin the mani. The last pic is taken with flashlight, to show the design a lil bit better :) ...but my skin looks like it´s from a corpse :))))

Late Nail Art Monday: Glitterbomb

 So here it is...the very late Nail Art Monday Post :D The theme this time was Glitterbomb, so I knew I had to use as much glitter polish as possible ;) I layered 3 different glitter polishes and the end result was a very glittery manicure but also a very thick one... it took forever to dry :D 

 

For the first layer I used Aden - 53M9, a blue glitter polish with very small glitter. The second layer is Essence NA Twins - Clyde (03), a pretty blue glitter with holographic square glitter :) And the third one was also a Essence Twin: Edward (06), which has green squares and small blue glitter. I took this blurry pic, to show you the holo glitter and all that sparkle that´s going on there :D  

This picture shows the green glitter a bit better :) I just love the square glitter that Essence puts in all the Twins-Polishes :) 

On the last pic it looks just like a glitter gradient :) All in all I loved this manicure, but it was so thick, that it didn´t dry and I had to remove it after 2 hours :P This was a long post with many pics, but I had to show them all, they are so pretty :D

Nail Art Monday Nr.3 - Sponge Mani

Hello everybody :) 

Today is monday and that means? Right! Nail Art Monday! :) So todays´ theme is sponged nails. I´ve never done this before so it was a completely new experience for me. I started off with 2 coats of Essence - Sundancer and sponged it with P2 - Summer Party(LE). And because it looked kind of unfinished, I added some dots and stripes :) 

I´m not really a fan of this manicure...and I don´t know why ^^ Nevertheless I will try some sponging again, maybe some gradient, but for now I stick to the stuff I know :P

Nail Art Monday Nr.2 - Patriotic Nails

Hello everyone!
First off: Happy 4th of July to everyone in the USA! :)
So today is another Nail Art Monday and the theme is 4th of July/Patriotic nails. The fb-group Polish-aholics Anonymous has many members from all over the world, that´s why we decided that the ones, not living in the USA, should do patriotic nails :) So since I´m from Romania, here is my patriotic nail design:

The pic above is taken with flashlight, to make the colors really pop out. First I wanted to do only the national flag, but then I thought I could do an accent nail as well :) The colors I used: P2 - Gigantic (blue), Essence - Sundancer (yellow), Farmasi - 45 (red) and the white base is Art de Lautrec - 200.

Nail Art Monday

Hello, my lovelies!
Today I wanna introduce you to the Nail Art Mondays :) I joined a group on Facebook, called Polish-aholics Anonymous, where we create nail art, based on the weekly theme. It´s really fun and I love to see what others came up with :) If you want to join the group and get creative, just send a request and join the group ;) So for this week, the theme was floral design, I did something simple but cute. I used 2 coats of Catrice - Lavender Breeze as a base and for the design I used the Essence Nail Art Tip Painters in black, pink and silver.

So this is it for today...how do you like Nail Art Mondays so far? :) I´m really excited to see the theme for next Monday :D
