Valentines's Day Challenge - Red Passion

Hello my lovelies!

I don't even wanna post this look today... but I have to! First I wanted to do some beautiful nails (already had some mani in mind I wanted to recreate), but there was no time and no place to do it here..
No problem so far, I still can do some make-up right?
Well, I am at my boyfriend's place and the light here is just extremely bad. I basically could have done the make-up in the dark..maybe it would have turned out better then ^^

But let's talk about the make-up! Obviously I had to use some red and since the challenge is "Red Passion" I knew there had to be some smokey eye going on there as well!

Products I used:
- P2 Perfect Eyes Base
- P2 Perfect Look Lip Liner 141 Volcano
- BH Cosmetics 120 Color Palette (red)
- Sleek Ultra Mattes V2 (Colors: Maple + Dune + Pillow Talk)
- Catrice Absolute Matt Palette
- W7 - In the Buff (Sand)
- Maybelline Gel Eyeliner 01 Black
- Astor Seduction Codes Mascara
- Ardell Black Wispies

One side has more black than the other and is better blended, one eye lash is put on good the other one extremely crooked ...aaah! I hate it xD I am such a perfectionist and I can't look too much at this picture ..

Thanks for reading anyway! And see ya soon with some better post :)

Valentine's Day Challenge - Romantic Lace

Hello my lovelies!

Today starts the Valentine's Day Challenge that Kaki and me created! I'm so excited to see what all the girls come up with :D

My plan was to create both make-up and nail art for every challenge, but I realized today this will be pretty hard! I sometimes don't have that many ideas :D

So here is my romantic lace inspired mani:

I used Catrice Must Have STEELetto, a gorgeous light purple metallic, as a base, a lace-like image from an Essence Stamping plate and Konad Black Nail Polish.
I didn't stamp the image on the nail, but instead I created nail decals and just put them on the nail where I wanted them. It's much more easier that way! If you wanna see a tutorial on this technique just let me know ;)

To make the line more smooth I added some dots with the same Konad polish and finished it with a layer of TC.

I wanted to do some lace pattern around the eyes as well, but I didn't manage to do it... I don't have such a thin brush to create such a look. So instead I used the same metallic purple eye shadow to match it with the nails:

Products I used:
- P2 Perfect Eyes Base
- P2 Intensive Kohl Eyeliner 020 Cool Alaska
- BH Galaxy Chic (Color: Cosmic)
- Sleek Ultra Mattes V2 (Colors: Villan + Pillow Talk)
- Catrice Absolute Matt Palette
- P2 Glow Up Highlighter - High Beam
- Maybelline Gel Eyeliner 01 Black
- Astor Seduction Codes Mascara
- Catrice Single Lashes (on outer corner)

The eye shadow is much more similar to the nail polish in real life and much more shimmery too.
I hope you like it and don't forget to check out the other ladies as well!

Thanks for reading! <3

Make-Up of the Day: Green and Gold Eyes

Hello my lovelies :)

I wanna show you the make-up I wore today, since it turned out better than expected :)

I did a gold and green kinda smokey eye and paired it with some neutral soft pink lips with golden shimmer as well.
To get some gold color on the lips I just took the same eye shadow I used on my eyes, applied it on my lips as well and put the lip gloss right over it :)

All the products I used:

Face

Kiko Mat Base Corrector Primer
L'Oreal Perfect Match Foundation W3 Golden Beige
Essence All Day Concealer 20 Soft Beige
L'Oreal Nude Magique BB Powder Light Skin
Sleek Contouring and Blush Palette Fair 372 (only Bronzer)
Catrice Duo Blush 020 Peach Sorbet
P2 Glow Up! Highlighter in High Beam
Alverde Fixing Spray

Lips

Essence Good Girl Bad Girl LE Lip Gloss - 02 Good Girls wear Peach
Sleek Sunset Palette - Golden Eyeshadow

Eyes & Eyebrows

Maybelline BROWdrama - Medium Brown
Kiko Perfect Eyes Duo Highlighter Pencil
P2 Glow Up! Highlighter in High Beam
P2 Perfect Eyes Base
BH Cosmetics 28 Color Palette Neutral Eyeshadow
P2 Fantastic Chrome Kajal - Golden Amber
Sleek Ultra Mattes Palette V2 - Fern
Sleek Sunset Palette - Golden Eyeshadow
Manhattan X-treme Last Eyeliner in Black
Maybelline Gel Eyeliner 01 Black
Maxfactor Eye Brightening Mascara for Hazel Eyes
Astor Seduction Codes Mascara

Hope you like it!

I'm trying to use more of my palettes and create colorful make-ups because I just have so much stuff and I really should use it:P
The reason I said it turned out better than expected is that usually gold eye shadow isn't as opaque as I would like - but I just put P2's golden eye liner under it as a base and it turned out how I wanted!
Also the eye shadows are just amazing, but that's why I love to use Sleek palettes ;)

Thanks for reading!

See ya soon <3

And a silly picture, because I felt like it :D

Just as I typed the product list I realized how much stuff I put on my face almost every day ...that's insane if you think about it, but I won't stop doing that... I just love it too much :D

Hope you liked this look and please tell me, what do you like to wear as make-up in the winter time? :)

Thanks for reading and see ya soon <3

The Penguin Make-Up Challenge 3 !

I am so sad it's already the last challenge!! It was so fun creating these different make-up looks, because I've never done more than apply some liquid eye-liner and mascara and that's it :)) So thanks Kaki, Mimi and Alexis for coming up with this great challenge!! :D

So the last challenge was to use only white & color and at first I didn't knew what to do, but then I woke up this morning and I had an idea! :D
I love the ocean, I love Walt Disney's Arielle and therefore all kind of mermaids. So I decided to do a mermaid inspired look!

I wish I had some gold eye shadow, that's the only thing that's missing here :P

Products I used for this look:
Eyes & Eyebrows
Catrice Eye Shadow Base
Essence Eye Shadow 01 Chill Out (white shimmer)
Essence Eye Shadow 13 Rapanui (mint shade)
P2 Eye Shadow 060 Bombastic Blue
P2 Eye Pencil 020 Cool Alaska (white)
Catrice Eye Pencil 080 Lucy In the Skies (eyebrows)
Essence Eye Pencil 02 I'm a Marine Girl (50's Girls LE)
Maybelline Jade Volume Mascara in Navy Blue
False Eye Lashes from Fing'rs

Face
Essence Pure Teint Mousse Make-Up 01 Beige
+ all the eye shadows from above! ;)

Lips
Catrice Eye Pencil 080 Lucy In The Skies
Essence XXXL Shine Lipgloss 13 Rock On! (purple shimmer)

This was incredibly fun to create and I wore it for almost 5 hours (because I wanted to show it to my mom :D) and it all stayed in place and looked just like in the beginning!

I had to do something crazy for the last challenge, because I did some pretty "normal" looks for the other 2 ones, right? :P
I hope you like it!! Make sure to check out all the other talented ladies! ;)

Christmas Challenge Day 20 - Sleigh/Sled

Day 20 already! Only 4 more days and Santa brings us presents ;)
For today I had a great idea, but it was really hard to paint it on the nails :P
I know... the Reindeer on my index looks like a crazy rabbit and the on on my middle finger looks like a dog with really big ears =)))) But I like the one on my ring finger ;) And since I couldn't paint a whole Reindeer on my little finger I decided to paint a roof with a chimney and smoke. Aaaaand on my thumb I did the sleigh and Santa, here is a close up:
Just ask if you wanna know any of the colors, I'm too lazy to list them all up :P
Make sure to visit these ladies too!

I just had to share the pic I just took with my cat Kiara :) She is sitting right next to me and is watching every move I'm doing :D

Have a good night and see ya next time :-*

Nail Art Monday Nr.7 - Patchwork

Hello!
Yeey it´s Monday again, so here is a new Nail Art Challenge! This time: Patchwork! I love this type of manicure and I already did this once -->here<--. Like the old one, this one is inspired by the design of Kayla Shevonne, too :)
 Without Flash
With Flash

I used: Essence - Can´t cheat on me (grey), Essence - Shocking Blue (light blue) and MNY 661. I adore this color combination! Now it´s obvious to me, that my favorite color is not only purple, but also blue! :D
What are your favorite colors/color combinations? Let me know! :)
See ya next time :-*

Today´s Swatch: Maybelline NY Mini Colorama - Cherry

Hello my dear readers, and hello to my new followers ;)
I want to remind you, that you still have 3 days left to vote for which Nail Art Tutorial you wanna see first :) So go ahead and vote ;)
Let´s move on to the swatch :) Today I wanna show you a really gorgeous red glitter polish. It´s called Cherry (54) and it´s from Maybelline New York and their Mini Colorama Collection. I always wear it over a red polish, because it´s a little sheer on it´s own. To show you what I mean I applied 3 coats of Cherry on my ring finger and 1 coat of Cherry over a red polish on my other fingers. The application is very easy and unlike other glitters, you don´t need any TC to smooth it out.
The glitter is much more visible in real life, I don´t know why my cam doesn´t want to show that :) The second pic is most color accurate.
I really like the quality of this polish, but unfortunately I didn´t like the other Mini Colorama colors I found so far. Well, maybe I will someday :)
Do you own any Mini Colorama polishes? Any must-haves ? :)
Thanks for reading and have a great day!

Night Sky Manicure

Hey , dear readers!
Quick post today :) I used Catrice - En Vogue, 2 coats, as a base and added Maybelline NY Flash Cosmic (840D). It is such a pretty shimmer! I love it! And it looks like the stars on a night sky :) Click to enlarge, to see the beautiful glitter.
Blurry image to show you the great sparkle... it´s much more visible in real life  :)
It´s subtle but gorgeous :) So that´s it for today, sorry for this short post, but I have a lot to study and no time....but it will be all over soon :)
Thanks for reading and have a nice and sunny Sunday ;)

Rainbow Mani

Hello again :)
After I saw this beautiful mani by Let Them Have Polish, I just had to do it myself :) Btw, check her blog out, it´s awesome ;) For this I used a total of 16(!!) polishes. A lot, right? :D It´s a good thing I have that many polishes to choose from. I had all colors I needed except one, so I had to use a glitter polish. The others are all cremes.
Here is the the photo... after that I listed the polishes for each finger, from the brightest to the darkest color :)
As a base for all nails I used Essence - White Hype, then I tapped it and added:
Thumb: Essence - Get The Fever (09)  /  P2 - Open Your Heart (100)  /  Catrice - The Devil Wears Red (090)
Index finger: Essence - Sundancer (23)  /  Catrice - I Sea You! (250)  /  Catrice - Run Forest Run! (340)
Middle finger: Essence - Shocking Blue (13)  /  P2 - Gigantic (191)  /  Essence - Just Rock It! (37)
Ring finger: Essence - Enchanted Fairy (36)  /  Essence - Break Through (26)  /  P2 - Rich (248) (glitter)
Pinkie: Catrice - Just Married (210)  /  MNY - 807A  /  Essence - Plum Perfect (28)
Takes a little bit of time, but it´s worth it ;)

Off topic: While I did this mani I listened to a great song! Do you know that theme song from Fast Five: Danza Kuduro by Don Omar ft. Lucenzo ? Omg this song is sooo cool, you should definitely listen to it if you don´t know it already ;) Since the movie came out, I´ve been obsessed with it :P
Here is a link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kFBVY8oH83A
This is the perfect summer hit :) I  have it as a ring tone on my phone and if you hear a car drive by with this song at full volume, you know I´m coming :D

That was it for today, my lovelies, have a good night and thanks for reading ;)

3-colored Manicure :)

This mani is inspired by a new bracelet I got me some days ago. I love the color combination of it so much, that I  had to do a mani using them :) Everytime I see the photos, that I take with my phone, I just want to delete them, cause they´re so bad, and just wait until I have a new cam. But I don´t think I could go 2 months (or more) without blogging :P So sadly as it is...I just have to accept this damn pics and hope I have my cam soon :)
So here it is...I took a photo with the bracelet so you could see the colors :) I used MNY - 807 A (pink), Catrice - Forget-Me-Not (purple) and P2 - Unforgettable (turquoise). In real life the colors match the bracelet perfectly ;)

I hope the sun comes back again, cause sunlight-pictures always look better :) So, please dear sun, come back ! :D
So thats it for today, my nailpolish-friends, see ya tomorrow :)

Pink Ladybug

Sometimes a design looks really good in your head and you want to try it immediately, but the minute it is on your nails it doesn´t look that pretty anymore, do you know what I mean ? I hate that :P Well, for this mani my inspiration was a little fluffy toy: a pink ladybug :)
Well, on to the nails: I used 2 coats of MNY 807A and added little dots with P2 - Open your heart. On the ring finger I drew the head with Essence - Fatal and P2 - Flirt & Tease.
I thought it would look .... cuter :P Well, not everything works out the way you want it.
The dots aren´t that visible on this pic...gosh I hope I get my cam back soon ... this pics are driving my nuts! ^^
Thanks for reading and see ya next time ! :-*

Written in the stars . . .

..is a great song, right ? For those, who don´t know it, here is a link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YgFyi74DVjc

Well, this song inspired me to a mani (what else? :P), I did it some while ago, but I wanna show you now :) so here it is:
First I used a basecoat, because black stains just as much as blue does :P Then I did 2 coats of MNY 673, a black polish with big glitter in it. With the tip painter from Essence (03 silver surfer) I drew the stars randomly over my nails and voilĂ : a simple and cute design :)

Have a nice sunny day! Bye :-*

Summer, sunshine ... and Sun Club - Splash Refresh

Hello again !
Today I wanna show you the second Sun Club polish I got from Essence: 03 BBC Splash Refresh. It´s a turquoise colour without any shimmer and it´s very creamy. Here I used 2 thin coats, but I think you could easily use only 1 thick coat to make it opaque.
Perfect for summer, right ? ;) And then I thought I could add Maybelline NY Express Finish - Flash Cosmic...to have some flakies :D ..but sometimes my ideas look good only in my head ^^ So here it is with one coat Flash Cosmic :
It looks sooooo pretty in the bottle, look:
Perhaps with some other base colour..I have to try different shades...but another time ;)
How do you like it ? Better with or without the flakies ?

Have a nice day, dear readers ;)

Random Swatches (MNY)

Achtung! Langer Post! :)

Ich hab mir gedacht ich poste ein paar Swatches einer meiner Favoriten-Marke:
Maybelline New York - MNY

Ich kann jedem diese Nagellacke nur empfehlen! Schöne Farben und toller Preis.

Bis zum nächsten Post! ;)
