Today´s Swatch: Flormar U33

Hello, my dear readers!
I just wanna say thank you, to all of you, for sticking with me although I'm not posting very much these days! :)

Today I got a beautiful polish for you: Flormar U33. In the bottle it's a gorgeous turquoise-purple-pinkish duochrome, but look for yourself:
Why, oh why, dear nail polish god, do you make polishes that are duochrome in the bottle but not on the nails? Is this just a trick to make us buy the polishes?
Oh well, it works :P
I used 2 coats and this is how it looks on the nails:
Most of the time it looks blue, leaning towards turquoise and just sometimes you can see a little bit of purple around the edges.
Ok, the purple doesn't show on the pictures at all, but believe me, there is a little bit showing in real life ;) It's still a really gorgeous polish, but I would have loved it even more, if the duochrome would have transfered from the bottle onto the nails. :P

Do you have polishes like this, that are gorgeous in the bottle,
but not the same on the nails ?

Thanks for reading and see ya soon! ;)

  1. I hope all your studying and exams are going well :-)
I really like this polish but it's a shame the duochrome is lacking in reality. Pretty colour though. I'm thinking of getting a purple/green duochrome from Accessorize soon so hopefully that won't disappoint.
One last thing, there will be an award for you on my blog tomorrow :-)

Can't wait to see your new douchrome! I loved the last one, I think it was called Pink Spice? :)

  2. I like it, although duochrome effect isn't that visible. The base color is gorgeous by itself.

  3. I hate when you buy a polish expecting duochromeness and it just isnt there-so disappointing. This is pretty as a blue polish though!

  4. I like it too, but what is it with those duochromes. How do they make it look so pretty in the bottle, - it's supposed to transfer to the nails! :D

  5. I think it's pretty even without the duochrome :) But I know what you mean, you feel a little bit cheated when you expect something else!

  6. Perhaps layering over black can bring out the douchrome? I had that with a P2 LE polish from thr deep water love collection. It is super sheer, too, so layering helped a lot!

But it is sure a pretty color :)
