There are now 203 of you! I can´t believe it :D I´m doing this since April and I never would have thought I´d have so many readers by now ... wow :) I thank each and every one of you, for reading my posts, sharing them, comment on them :) I love what I do and I love it even more, when I see that other people appreciate it ;)
This week on PAA, the theme was "hearts", and there couldn´t have been a better theme to show my readers some love :)
This was inspired by a technique I saw once on My Simple Little Pleasures, but I don´t know which post it was. It´s very easy and quick to do, but the effect is awesome. :)
I used: Essence - Back to the 50´s (red) and Nail Collection Matte Nr. 4 (white). The light was not the best today, otherwise I would have done a swatch
of the red polish :)
Have you ever tried this technique before ? :) Let me know!
Have a nice evening ♥
Very pretty! Makes your nails look longer! :) I also wanted to try it all the time..
ReplyDeleteThese are awesome! Did you use a needle to drag?
ReplyDelete@ritterbraten: Thank you! :D Try it ! You´ll see it´s easy :)
ReplyDelete@FrugallyMe: Thanks! :) No, actually i used one of those long and thin nail art brushes, if you know what I mean :)
These are really awesome! Sorry I've been slacking on the commenting-I always look at your stuff-have been slacking on all blogs-not just yours!
ReplyDeleteThese are SO cute!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much! And hey, that´s no problem ... I know how that is :)
ReplyDeleteI have been wanting to try this technique, will need to move it up on my list. I <3 your manicure :)
ReplyDeleteOh I love these! How quickly do you have to run the needle through the polish?
ReplyDelete@Anutka: Thanks! :D Try it soon, you´ll love it ;)
ReplyDelete@Sonoma Bento: Thank you! Well, I applied a thick coat of red, waited only a few seconds, then placed the white dots and immediately run through it with a nail art brush :)
Ooh, this is stunning! I haven't seen this before but it's definitely something I'd like to try. I love it!
ReplyDeleteI tried it once but it didn't turn out very good.. I should try it again tho :)
ReplyDeletePretty! :)
ReplyDelete@Laura: Thank you so much! :) I look forward to your design :)
ReplyDelete@Helga: I tried it out various times before and it didn´t work out :P Try it again, and you´ll see it gets easier :)
@Sophie: Thank you! :)
Welll look at you! This looks so great! Love it!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much! :D
ReplyDeleteI love shape of your nails!
ReplyDeleteThank you!! :)
ReplyDeleteI've tried to do this before after seeing the post from My Simple Little Pleasures, but every time I did it, it looked nothing like hearts and I had balding from the top of the heart. :( Any tips for how you got yours to look like hearts?
ReplyDeletewell, make sure that the base color is still wet! apply the second color in big dots and use a nail art brush to drag through the dots. You know the thin and long nail art brushes? it´s a lot easier than using a dotting tool, needle etc.
ReplyDeleteI hope I could help :)
